Role in Our Church
The Tech & Media Team is essential to creating an excellent worship experience, both in person and online. This team ensures that sound, visuals, live streams, and presentations run smoothly so that people can fully engage in worship and the message. By working behind the scenes, the Tech & Media Team helps eliminate distractions and enhances the way God's Word is communicated.

Expectations of the Role
  • Audio/Visual Support: Operate soundboards, microphones, and visual presentations during services and events.
  • Livestream & Recording: Manage online streaming and recordings for those worshiping remotely.
  • Slides & Lyrics: Run presentation software (such as ProPresenter or PowerPoint) to display song lyrics and sermon notes.
  • Lighting & Visual Effects: Ensure appropriate lighting and stage visuals to create an engaging worship atmosphere.
  • Equipment Setup & Maintenance: Set up, test, and troubleshoot technical equipment before and after services.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Worship Team, Pastoral Team, and Communications Team to ensure seamless execution.

Requirements

  • Weekly Hours: 2–4 hours per shift (before, during, and after service).
  • Frequency: Rotating schedule (weekly, bi-weekly, or as needed).
  • Meetings & Training: Occasional team training and technical workshops to improve skills and stay updated with new technology.

Commitment

Dependability—once scheduled, it is crucial to be present and prepared. Focus throughout service is important.

Christ Follower

Must be a committed follower of Christ and actively engaged in the life of the church.
Willingness to learn (experience in audio, video, or media is helpful but not required—training is provided).

Training & Onboarding
New team members will receive hands-on training in their chosen area (sound, visuals, livestream, etc.).
Shadowing opportunities with experienced team members.
Ongoing training sessions to improve technical skills and adapt to new equipment.
