meet our Council

Jordan was born and raised in Wichita, KS. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Wichita State University in Business Administration with a Minor in Entrepreneurship and a second Minor in Management. Jordan and his wife, Marissa, are owners of two successful and growing businesses, Harris Dream Cleaning and Angel Wings Daycare. Jordan was recognized and awarded as the SBA National Small Business person of the year of Kansas  by the White House in 2023.

Jordan is a husband and father of three young children.

Eric is a creative, strategist, and optimizer who seeks to have fun and cultivates joy wherever he is. Eric graduated from Friends University in 2009 with a degree in Studio Art. He enjoys capturing moments of wonder through photography, traveling with his wife, Janie, and their four children, and playing bass on the worship team at The 316 Church. Eric is also the co-founder of Shelter and Rain. He’s been the longest standing council member and offers strategic wisdom and consistent encouragement.

Candice has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and has several years of experience working in the social sector, supporting non-profits, schools and under resourced communities. She has brought incredible wisdom to this team and has an eye for filling in the gaps and greater vision. She is the newest member of our council. But in a short time has created tangible systems that have propelled us forward, making our big goals possible and many smaller goals realized. She is an amazing asset to this team.  She cares about treating people with goodness and fairness, making her one of the safest people you’ll know.

She is a mother to one daughter, the beautiful Bella.
