Message Title: Scarcity, Faith, and the God Who Provides
Message Summary: What happens when the land runs dry and the resources we depend on seem to disappear? In this powerful message drawn from 2 Kings 4:38-41, we are invited into a scene of famine, desperate hunger, and unexpected danger -- and we discover that God's perspective on scarcity looks nothing like our own. The central lesson is both convicting and liberating: just because we are in a season of lack does not mean God is in a season of lack. When Elisha calls for the biggest pot available in the middle of a famine, he is reorienting everyone in the room to think the way God thinks rather than the way circumstances dictate. This is a challenge for all of us -- to resist the small-pot mindset that scarcity tries to press upon us and to trust that the God we serve is still thinking in terms of abundance, provision, and purpose even when our natural eyes tell a different story.
