The sermon unpacks the profound connection between our soul—our mind, will, and emotions—and our eternal destiny. Using the analogy of soil types from the parable of the sower, we're reminded that God's Word cannot take root in unplowed, cluttered ground. We're challenged to become spiritual gardeners of our own souls, cultivating the inner landscape where transformation actually happens. The most convicting truth? Our souls are what's truly at stake. We'll receive new bodies in eternity, and our spirits already belong to God if we're believers—but the health and condition of our souls determines our forever. This calls us to take seriously the work of renewing our minds, guarding what enters our hearts, and allowing God's truth to reshape us from the inside out.
